How it works
Connect a channel
Add the Koster bot to the Telegram channel or Discord server where posts should go.
Add sources
A game’s Steam page or the news section of a game’s website. Koster checks that it is official news.
Pick a mode
Publish right away or after approval in the Inbox, as is or formatted by AI.
What it does
Steam and game websites
News from a game’s Steam page and from developer websites. Koster finds the news feed on a site by itself, a link to the news section is enough.
AI formatting
AI translates the news into Russian and formats it into a post with a headline and lists, using a glossary of game terms. The game’s name comes from the source, so the AI won’t mix it up.
Series for big updates
Long patch notes are split into several posts by topic, published in order.
Images and videos from the news
Posts carry the images and videos from the news itself, up to ten per post.
Inbox
Ready posts wait for approval. Edit the text, reformat it, schedule it for later or reject it.
Post from a link
Send a link to Steam news or a website article, and Koster prepares a post without subscribing to the source.
Several channels and a log
One source publishes to several channels. The log shows what went where and when, and a failed send can be retried.

How do I auto-post Steam news to Telegram?
Log in to Koster, add the bot to your Telegram channel, then add a Steam game as a source and pick that channel. New news for the game will arrive as posts.
Can I post news to Discord?
Yes. Add the Koster bot to your server, pick a text channel, and posts go there the same way as to Telegram.
Are posts published without my approval?
Only if the source is set to publish right away. With approval on, a post waits in the Inbox until you publish it.
Which AI formats the posts?
Claude by Anthropic. The news text is sent to it only for formatting; the privacy policy has the details.
Will the same news be posted twice?
No. The same news is never published twice, even if it comes from two sources.
